Highland ceilidh band TWEED looks to grow with second album #LifestyleNews #Ceilidh

A lively ceilidh band from Inverness and Speyside. The trio have played throughout the UK and Europe, whilst retaining their weekly slot in Aviemore – which has allowed them to flourish and build a great repertoire of entertaining material.

Weaving together traditional ceilidh music with funk, ska and toe-tapping beats and anything in between. The band travel far and wide sharing their talent and tunes.

Following their debut album “The first Weave” Tweed are now looking to raise funds to help launch their second album. Their target of £3,000 has already reached the 50% pledge point and if the full amount is reached by 8th September 2015, the band can get ahead and create their second album for fans and lovers of tradition and funk mixed highland sound.
