Forfar Athletic consolidated third spot in Division Two thanks to substitute Barry Sellars’ stoppage-time winner in a five-goal thriller that leaves Albion Rovers four points adrift at the bottom.The visitors made a lightning start when James Craigen put them in front after only 29 seconds, lashing a pass from Ross Campbell into the top corner from 12 yards.Gavin Swankie then had an effort tipped round a post by Rovers goalkeeper Matthew McGinley.But he played a part in helping the visitors double their advantage in the 24th minute as he teed up Craigen for a second.The Coatbridge side hauled themselves back into the game with two goals in the final 10 minutes of the first half.Chris Boyle opened his account for the season with a fine finish into the bottom corner from 12 yards following good work from Christie Elliot.Elliot then set up Steven Howarth for an 18-yard equaliser five minutes before the break.McGinley pulled off a number of saves in the final quarter of the match but was finally beaten at the death by Sellars.The veteran, introduced at the break, volleyed in from 18 yards to earn the Loons only their second win in eight matches to end a run of three straight defeats on their travels.
